IT Support Employee
An IT Support Employee with a passion for technology and strong knowledge of IT systems and processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the escalation point/second point of contact (POC) to resolve IT support requests from employees. The first line of support is handled by a third-party IT provider.
- Answering employee inquiries about computer systems.
- Modifying configurations, settings, and permissions to resolve computer issues for exceptions/VIPs.
- Ensuring proper IT onboarding in collaboration with local HR for new employees during the onboarding process.
- Monitoring the logging of all service requests and updating tickets when necessary.
- Serving as the first POC to open tickets and manage incidents for critical, major issues that impact the business.
- Collecting and analyzing data to diagnose issues with computer systems.
- Overseeing IT activities, ensuring new software installations, hardware driver updates, and existing hardware updates are carried out by the external provider.
- Providing insights and ensuring best practices to continuously improve WFS IT services.
- Collaborating with the global IT community to standardize and leverage best practices.
- Gaining an understanding of business operations, user needs, and functional requirements.
- Documenting user requirements, solutions, and budgeted proposals.
This role requires:

Preferred experience:
- Microsoft Windows Desktop Environment.
- Microsoft Windows Server Environment.
- Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Environment.
- On-Prem/Azure Active Directory.
- VoIP phone systems and SIP trunks.
- 3+ years in a similar role.
- Experience in an international/global company.
- Experience working independently while reporting to management abroad.
